Skyscrapers is another musical collaboration from Nick and Russ born out of lockdown. Apart from the odd pulse, this ethereal tune was simply a product of guitar, bass and a stripped down groove.

The vocal performance provided by Ellie Jones was undoubtedly the surprise element and yet perfect compliment to the above.

The song itself is a reference to two separate events, and two conflicting experiences, both etched in the memory forever.

The first being the feeling of awe walking between the towering structures of that ever evolving modern city and stopping for a moment to let it sink in.

The latter, the day the world looked on as part of that infamous skyline was so quickly brought down to earth.
